In teaching the last 6 years; I have come across and developed many different projects and curriculums. I found myself and my students getting a little burned out with the same old stuff.

In the last 4 years I have been involved in the Project Lead the Way’s (PLTW), National Engineering Curriculum.  All through the curriculum, there is real content, that involves almost every aspect of the Engineering field. The curriculum takes you through the process of projects. The students learn the importance of; research, measurement, design, production, reverse engineering, prototyping, and presentations of a product.

I think this curriculum has been a very valuable addition to our school and its students. It is a good change in curriculum from the traditional Technology courses which we still teach here (all course listed below).
